UC Planner · Founding Tester Access

Apply to become a Founding Tester.

This short application helps Barry assemble a varied, manageable testing group. It is not a Universal Credit fact-finding form, and you do not need to provide exact financial information or documents.

What happens next
  1. Complete this short application using only broad information about the circumstances you could help test.
  2. Applications are reviewed in small groups to help cover a useful range of circumstances.
  3. If selected, you will receive an email with a personal invitation code and simple instructions for installing UC Planner.
  4. Use the app with circumstances you are comfortable testing, then tell us what worked and what needs improving.

If you are accepted and complete the agreed initial testing journey, you will receive the ad-free version of UC Planner free for as long as the app remains available.

UC Planner makes its own estimate. It does not ask you to upload, photograph, paste in or store your official UC statement. Keep this application broad. Claim references, National Insurance numbers, bank details, addresses, employer or workplace names, medical details and documents are not required and should not be entered.

About you

If selected, we will email you a personal invitation code and simple installation instructions. This does not need to match another account.

Your iPhone

This generally means iPhone XS or XR or newer, or iPhone SE (2nd generation) or newer. This first testing wave is for iPhone only. iPad testing may be considered in a later wave, but iPad users are not being invited through this application.

Your testing profile (optional)

Why we ask these questions: the app needs testing against a range of real Universal Credit circumstances. Your answers help us avoid recruiting only people with the same type of claim. We do not need your claim number, employer name, exact income, address or documents. Choose “prefer not to say” whenever you wish.

Claim type

Children and childcare (select any that apply)

Choose all that apply. “Prefer not to say” cannot be combined with another answer, and “No children” cannot be combined with the children or childcare choices.

Work circumstances (select any that apply)

Choose all work arrangements that apply. “Not currently working” and “Prefer not to say” must each be selected on their own.

Usual payday pattern

Housing circumstances

Optional sensitive categories
The next two questions may reveal caring, health, disability or accessibility information. You may skip them or choose “prefer not to say”. Do not include a diagnosis. If you answer either question, the separate explicit-consent checkbox below is required. Read the explanation of legal basis and consent (opens in a new tab).

Other UC elements (optional; select any that apply)

Caring-related and health/disability-related may both apply. “Neither” and “Prefer not to say” must each be selected on their own.

Testing basis

A comparison means checking the estimate yourself against your next UC statement when it arrives—or, if you modelled a past period, against the matching historical statement. You do not send the statement or its data to us.

Accessibility features or access needs (optional; select any that apply)

Choose all access needs that apply. “Prefer not to say” must be selected on its own.

Keep this broad. Do not enter figures, employer names, medical details, addresses, claim references or information about children.

This form emails the application to app-feedback@organisedandco.com. No files can be attached. If the form is inaccessible, use that address without including sensitive information.
